How to import users to Ploy using the Browser Extension
Use this flow when you want to add Browser Extension as a source of truth for scrape-based user discovery. The setup scans integrations, analyzes resource permissions, and builds a configuration plan before you add the source.
Before you start, make sure Browser Extension v2 is available to the users or environments you want to include in the setup.
Set up scrape functionality
Open the source-of-truth setup flow in Ploy.
Select Browser Extension as the source type.
Click Setup.
Review the setup progress while Ploy runs these steps:
Scanning integrations
Analyzing resource permissions
Building configuration plan
When the setup is ready, click Add Source.
Wait for the confirmation message that the source of truth was added successfully.
If setup fails, Ploy shows Failed to add source of truth and prompts you to try again.
