Manage Luna AI persistent memory
Luna's persistent memory stores organisation-specific facts so Luna can provide accurate, context-aware responses across all conversations. You can store up to 100 memories-either added manually or saved automatically by Luna from your chats.
Add a memory manually
Navigate to Luna in the sidebar.
Click the Memories tab (CPU icon).
Click Add memory.
Enter the fact or context you want Luna to remember (up to 200 characters).
Click Save.
Examples: "Engineering team uses Okta for SSO" or "We provision AWS access via HiBob onboarding workflows."
View your memories
The Memories tab shows all stored facts with their source:
Saved by Luna — Facts Luna automatically extracted from conversations.
Added by [Name] — Facts you or teammates added manually.
The header displays your current count (e.g., "47 / 100"). When you reach 100 memories, delete unused ones to add new facts.
Delete a memory
Go to the Memories tab.
Find the memory you want to remove.
Click the trash icon.
Deleted memories cannot be recovered. Luna will no longer reference them in future responses.
How Luna uses memories
Luna references stored memories when answering questions, generating playbooks, and making access recommendations. The more context you provide, the more tailored Luna's responses become to your organization's setup.
Start with high-impact facts like your primary IdP, HRIS system, critical apps, and standard access patterns. Review auto-saved memories periodically to ensure accuracy.
