Pax8
Connect Pax8 to Ploy by providing your Pax8 Partner API credentials. Ploy stores the credentials securely and uses them to authenticate against the Pax8 Partner API on your behalf.
Current status of this integration
The Pax8 integration is currently connection-only. Connecting stores and validates the shape of your Pax8 Partner API credentials and marks the integration as set up, but Ploy does not yet run scheduled scans against your Pax8 account, so no Pax8 data will appear in Ploy automatically after connecting. Connecting now means your organisation is ready as soon as data sync for Pax8 is switched on. If there is specific Pax8 data you would like Ploy to sync, let us know via support — it helps us prioritise.
Prerequisites
Access to your Pax8 partner account with sufficient permissions to create API integration credentials.
A Pax8 Partner API client ID and client secret. Ploy authenticates with these using the OAuth 2.0 client credentials flow against the Pax8 API.
Step 1 — Get your Pax8 API credentials
Ploy needs a client ID and client secret for the Pax8 Partner API.
Sign in to your Pax8 partner account.
Create (or locate) an API client integration for the Pax8 Partner API — Pax8 provides these credentials to partners for programmatic access. If you are unsure where to find this in your account, Pax8 support or your Pax8 account contact can point you to it.
Copy the client ID and client secret somewhere safe. Treat the client secret like a password — anyone with both values can call the Pax8 API as your organisation.
Step 2 — Connect Pax8 to Ploy
In Ploy, go to Integrations, find Pax8 and click Connect.
Paste your Client ID — enter the client ID from Step 1 (required).
Paste your client secret — enter the client secret from Step 1 (required).
Click Save. Ploy stores the credentials and the integration is marked as connected.
Updating your credentials
If you rotate your Pax8 client secret, reopen the Pax8 integration in Ploy. The client secret field will show as already set — paste the new secret over it and save. If you leave the secret field untouched, Ploy keeps the existing one.
Troubleshooting
My Pax8 data isn't appearing in Ploy — this is expected for now: the Pax8 integration is connection-only and does not yet sync data (see the current status section above).
I entered the wrong credentials — reopen the integration, paste the correct client ID and client secret, and save again. The new values replace the old ones.
Anything else — contact Ploy support and we'll help you get connected.
