TravelPerk
Connect your TravelPerk account to Ploy to automatically discover everyone who has a TravelPerk user account. Ploy keeps a live picture of who can sign in to TravelPerk, so travel access shows up alongside the rest of your access reviews, onboarding and offboarding in Ploy.
The TravelPerk integration is read-only: Ploy only reads user information from TravelPerk and never makes changes to your TravelPerk account.
Before you begin
You need a TravelPerk account with permission to manage API access — typically an account administrator.
Ploy connects using a TravelPerk API key. The key must be allowed to read the users in your account.
Have Ploy open in another tab so you can paste the key straight in — treat the API key like a password and avoid storing it anywhere unencrypted.
Create an API key in TravelPerk
Log in to TravelPerk as an administrator.
Open your account settings and go to the developer tools area, where API keys are managed.
Generate a new API key. If TravelPerk asks which permissions the key should have, make sure it can read users.
Copy the key and keep it to hand for the next section.
The connection wizard in Ploy also includes a "How to find your API key" link to TravelPerk's own developer documentation if you get stuck.
Connect TravelPerk to Ploy
In Ploy, click Integrations in the left sidebar.
Click Add new integration and search for TravelPerk.
In API Key, paste your TravelPerk API key. This field is required.
Save the connection. Ploy verifies the key by making a small test request to TravelPerk's users API.
Once the connection is verified, Ploy starts its first scan automatically.
What data syncs
Users: every user in your TravelPerk account, with their name, email address and job details where available.
Account status: whether each user's TravelPerk account is active or deactivated, so blocked accounts are reflected in Ploy.
App access: each user is linked to the TravelPerk app in Ploy, giving you a per-person record of who holds TravelPerk access.
Data syncs periodically to keep Ploy up to date, so new joiners and deactivated accounts appear in Ploy shortly after they change in TravelPerk.
Troubleshooting
"Invalid API key"
TravelPerk rejected the key. Check that you pasted the full key with no extra spaces, and that the key has not been revoked in TravelPerk. If in doubt, generate a fresh key and connect again.
"API key does not have sufficient permissions"
The key was accepted but is not allowed to read users. Generate a new key with permission to read the users in your account and connect again.
"Failed to connect to TravelPerk"
Ploy could not complete the test request. This is usually temporary — wait a moment and try saving the connection again. If it persists, generate a new API key and reconnect.
