Calendly

Use the Calendly integration to sync your organization and member data into Ploy. To connect Calendly, first create an OAuth app in Calendly Developer, then add the app credentials in Ploy.

You need a Calendly developer account to create the OAuth app. This is separate from your normal Calendly account.

Before you start

  • Make sure the person connecting Calendly in Ploy is an owner or admin in your Calendly organization.

  • Decide whether you are creating a Sandbox app for testing or a Production app for live use.

Create a Calendly OAuth app

  1. Go to developer.calendly.com and sign in or create a developer account.

  2. Create a new OAuth app.

  3. Choose Sandbox for testing or Production for a live connection.

  4. Set the redirect URI to https://api.joinploy.com/integrations/auth/calendly/callback.

  5. Select these scopes: organizations:read, users:read, and groups:read.

  6. Copy the Client ID and Client Secret.

Calendly only shows the Client Secret once when you create the app. Store it somewhere safe before leaving the page.

Connect Calendly in Ploy

  1. In Ploy, open the Calendly integration setup.

  2. Paste your Client ID and Client Secret.

  3. Click Grant access.

  4. Complete the Calendly authorization flow.

Troubleshooting

  • If Ploy cannot complete the connection, confirm the redirect URI matches exactly.

  • If users or groups do not appear, make sure the connecting user is an owner or admin in Calendly.

  • If you lost the Client Secret, create a new one in Calendly Developer and update the credentials in Ploy.

After the connection is complete, Ploy can use your Calendly organization data during provisioning and access management workflows.
